About the service
Ardlui House is our reputable children and young people’s respite service based in Helensburgh. It offers support to families with children with a rage of complex support needs such as Autism, ADHD, Learning/physical disabilities and Epilepsy. The service provides a safe and fun place where families can feel at ease knowing their children are given the support, they deserve to enable them live their lives to the fullest. With a focus on child -centred care, we encourage children and young people to be creative, express feelings and ensure they are given the opportunity to explore activities in a community-based setting. The team at Ardlui are skilled and passionate about ensuring every child and young person’s individual needs are considered and committed to maintaining a safe and happy place where children and young people want to visit time and time again.
Your new role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the service and management of staffing levels whilst playing a key part of the leadership and management team to deliver support/training related to learning and development. You will be working collaboratively and liaising with internal and external stakeholders whilst promoting the service and the organisation to the local and wider community. An essential part of the role is to build and develop positive relationships with families, social services, health and educational bodies. Additionally, you will be working alongside the Head of Operations and commissioners to ensure the sustainability of the service.
